Welcome to Finn, book 6 in Farraday Country, a twist on the favorite 7 Brides for 7 Brothers theme set in cattle-ranching west Texas, with all the friends, family and fun that fans have come to expect from USA TODAY Bestselling author Chris Keniston. Born to be a cattleman, Finn Farraday is living his dream—running the family's West Texas ranch. Even though his brothers have found the loves of their lives, Finn isn't looking for a wife. Not even if she literally falls into his arms. City Girl Joanna Gaines knows she's not cut out for the nine to five rat race. But the ambling West Texas pace isn’t her speed either. That is until a ghost of an idea, and a last minute career-building opportunity lands her in the arms of the one good man that got away.
Finn Farraday C6ountry Volume 6 Chris Keniston Books
Wow! I don't know how Chris Kenniston does it, but every single book in this series just blows me away!!! Evcery time I think she can't possibly top the last book, she does. After reading the short excerpt in the last book, I could hardly wait to finally get my hands on this book, and boy....it was a real treat to read. I have grown to love this whole big, lovable Farraday clan to pieces, and back again. And the townspeople like Ned at the garage, the Sisters who run the general store, Abbie from the Diner, and lets not forget the group of older ladies, who get together to play poker evry week. Each one of these people are so unique and so, so sweet. And last but not least....there's Gray, and the mystery that he brings with each and every story. Makes me wonder if he's been sent there by someone from the past, to watch over the Farraday family.I love the natural playfulness between Finn and Joanna. Joanna is just one of those people that's so easy to like, right from the start. She so friendly & outgoing, always cheerful, and ready for any kind of adventure that comes her way. It seems her only flaw, is not knowing how to wart of unwanted attention from the male species. lol! And Finn....who in the world wouldn't love a hunk like that taking interest in them? He's such a gentleman. He's also so easy going, and as sweet as a molasses, but a whole lot better looking.
I loved the mystery and intrigue in this story as much as I did the bidding romance between her and Finn. It was a long time before I saw where the ghost town investigation was going, but when I did it made me laugh so hard it almost made me sick. Almost makes me wonder now what my own long lost ancesters were up to, all those years ago. ;)
Now off to read about Gracie's adventure. If you haven't read this series yet, you don't know what you're missing. It's one of the sweetest, and the most intriguing series you've ever read.

Finn Farraday C6ountry Volume 6 Chris Keniston Books Reviews
Much as I hate to give less than 5 stars, I just couldn't - Finn & Joanna's story wasnt lacking in the back story. However, I felt like their present was brief and energyless. No conflict. It wasn't exciting. Somewhat endearing, but a lot of that had to do with info provided in the earlier books and the familial connection. And the only hook for me was based on having read A,B,C,D,& E, so I wanted to finish F.
I am a fan of Chris Keniston, and I've loved her various series. These Farraday siblings stories are no exception. I've read them all! Finn's story is really just like Finn. He moves at a slower, steadier pace than his older brothers, and the story mirrors that. I liked steady Finn and the more outgoing, excitable and happy Joanna.
I,m looking forward to the last in this series, the only girl and last child, Grace's story.
I really enjoyed the sixth book in Chris Keniston's Farraday series. I think Finn as the youngest son and full time rancher deserved a special woman to love. As a rancher, I suppose it would be difficult to meet someone and finding an old friend and seeing her in a new light was perfect.
It would have been nice to have a bit more romance and heat between Finn and Jojo.
Looking forward to reading Grace's story and catching up on the other characters lives.
Book 6 in Farraday Country series and this was one book I could not put down and did not want to ! Finn Farraday comes to the rescue of Joanna Gaines a woman he has not seen in six years they where best friends and room-mates with others as they went through college. Joanna has come to write a story about the country where Finn is ranching, but she seems to draw rattlesnakes to her. When Finn first sees her again the dog everyone sees before they meet the women meant to be theirs came to him and lead him to a tree where Joanna was to get away from the snake she had almost stepped on. I could not help but laugh at some of the things these two do. I was gifted a copy but liked the book so much that I bought it. I can hardly wait for the next book.
I love this whole series, but Finn may just be my favorite Farraday brother... he's just a really great guy, and the kind of man that every girl wants to be with - honorable, but not above being a little bit bad given the right opportunity! This was such a well-crafted story... Joanna and Finn had been house-mates in college, but always just friends, so it was fun to see their story unfold when she comes to Tuckers Bluff in search of material for a magazine article - and maybe in search of Finn, too, after all those years had passed!?? After finding out Ethan was a dad in the previous book, I held my breath a bit about what the real relationship was between Finn and Joanna, but it was sure a lot of fun reading to find out!! This book jumped into the favorite position in the series for me - but I can't wait to see what comes next, and then I think I will read the whole series again!
Faraday Country is one of those series in which each book I read is the BEST BOOK!!! in Finn, I loved the gentle growth of friendship to love and their comfort with each other that allowed it to feel right. It is obvious the seeds of love were already there and that the time apart made it easier for them to see it. It was a long time before I saw where the ghost town investigation was going and I was in tears of laughter when I realized what the clues were adding up to. Finn and Joanne fit together beautifully and she fits in with the family wonderfully.
Finn's propensity for rescuing young maidens was the original basis of his friendship with Joanne, a housemate from college years. After all, she forges ahead without thinking and finds herself in need of a gentle way out of situations on a regular basis. The fake boyfriend/fiance trick they pulled on guys who got too friendly in college has increased their comfort level until onlookers question whether or not the relationship is for real. Her newest assignment, to write about a ghost town, is the perfect excuse to visit her old college buddy. She isn't quit prepared for all that she encounters though.
