Harmonized A Tidewater Novel Book 1 edition by Mary Behre Romance eBooks
The main premise of this series is about 3 sisters that were separated as children who each have some form of psychic abilities. The first two books were about Jules and Shelly. In Jules book Zig Harmon was a young patrol officer that ended up injured. This novella is his story which has him getting second chance at love along with a mystery of a missing baby. It’s always nice to get a story about a secondary character from previous books. Zig and Karma had a relationship in college but she just left one day without any explanation. Now she’s back 8 years later and needs Zig’s help in finding her friends baby. Problem is the town thinks the mother tried to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge taking her baby with her. Now she’s in a coma and the town thinks the baby is dead. Karma doesn’t believe this and needs someone to help her find the baby. Along with the search Zig and Karma also have to work through the pain of their past and the strong feelings they still have for one another.
Best part was a sneak peak at the end we get of Hannah’s story who we have been given so little information about so far as she was the youngest sister who was adopted at 3 in a private adoption.

Harmonized A Tidewater Novel Book 1 edition by Mary Behre Romance eBooks Reviews
I love this world that Ms. Behre has created. With Harmonized the author went a little farther out from her main characters and plotline to focus on a pair from the supporting cast, Zig and Karma. It’s intriguing because they are still part of the community where all the action has been taking place and I wonder how they are going to interact with the final sister when she’s found.
Actually, I know because I read the books out of order which allows me to say that this book can actually be a standalone read. Because Zig and Karma are secondary characters, this book presents them as separate people with different goals, conflicts, suspense and quirks than the regular novels in the series. Harmonized just takes place in the same town but this hero and heroine have something the others lack – history. It’s rich, poignant, convoluted and heart wrenching.
The premise is sort of classic – someone makes the choice to end things because of a greater issue. The choice was made with the passionate, impetuous assurance of youth, also known as being a martyr. The worst part is that they were wrong. The best part is that it forced them to grow as a person and the resulting strength of character is something a person can respect.
When Zig and Karma reunite, a reader can almost feel the passion simmering. Sooner or later love’s undertow drags them together and they have to face the truth – their love never died. I enjoyed that.
The suspense, action and drama stems from Karma’s use of her gift. There’s a toddler at risk and time is running out. I found the choice of illness interesting because I’d never heard of it. I also appreciated the detailed handling of all the steps Karma and Zig took to search and rescue the child. I was figuratively glued to my chair. This story was an incredibly fast read for me because although it was a novella, it was the fact that I couldn’t stop reading that made time go so fast and the book end too soon. What an amazing tale!
Harmonized was a wonderful reading experience. Ms. Behre showed me that there are a lot more fascinating and intriguing facets to life in Tidewater and it’s whetted my appetite for further adventures. Zig and Karma are fun when they’re together and not dealing with drama. I enjoyed getting to know them and I had a great time. It’s a definite recommended read.

Great, fun book! Would recommend all the Tidewater books )
Good storyline with just the right amount of mystery & love story.
Book is very interesting and keeps your attention to the very end with the different direction that the story leads to get to the truth. I enjoyed sitting down and reading this book .
Even though this was a quick novella, it was packed full of story. I loved Zig. Karma was good, but naive. The ending was a little rush but what do expect on a novella. This author is well worth reading.
Great addition to the Tidewater series! I MET Mary BEhre at a book signing with a lot of other authors in Maryland. She is not only a great author, she is a fun person to talk to. I walked out with 3 of her books! Signed! I am very glad I did. Harmonized fits between book two and three. Of course I had to buy it! The whole set is wonderful. It was very fun sexy read. Can read alone. Complete story. Karma and Zig's story is a very good read.
Just ok. The mystery solved itself so the whole physic thing didn't really make a difference. The relationship got back on track very quickly despite an enormous amount of hurt between them. Also the chemistry just didn't jump off the page. It wasn't terrible just wasn't particularly engaging and certainly not paranormal.
