From the day this book was up for pre ordering I pre ordered my copy and then waited for the release date. OMG this was a fantastic book from start to finish, I could not would not put the book down, the storyline was so relevant as it dealth with an issue that is affecting the world today, sex traffic - it was full of drama and suspense and of course some romance. I read it in one whole day😄😄. It is going to be another great , awesome family series with the Black Family full of hunky handsome men and gorgeous women. I await the 2nd book of this series with bated breath. Bring it on Deborah!!! I highly recommend this book , it must a Must read.

What an awesome story!!! Glad to have another family to fall in love with. This book is a page turner, which I read in one day, totally surprised on who was the mastermind behind this. Armstrong and Danni is an amazing couple and I rooted for them from the beginning. Chi!d trafficking is real and people need to pay more attention to what is really going on with their children. I know the second book is about the younger brother Mingus, hopefully the third book would be about Parker. Thank you Deborah Fletcher Mello for introducing your reader's to the Black family.
Had me guessing, I thought I had figured out who the bad guy was. This book had one thing I didn't see coming. A crooked cop. Cannot wait for the next story about the Black Family. One other thing I liked about this book was they didn't jump into bed on page two😊, they made it all the way to the end of the book before they had sex. I have enjoyed this author for years, Good Job
I am so loving Deborah Fletcher Mello’s new suspense series. This first book in the series chronicles Armstrong and Danni’s journey on their way to HEA. There are twists and turns, humor and everything we’ve come to love and expect from a Deborah Fletcher Mello story and series. I can’t wait to read the other books in the series. Well done Deborah!
Seduced by the Badge is the first book in what promises to be another incredible series by Deborah Fletcher Mello. From the first page to the last, I could not put this book down. The suspense, the riveting plot (investigating a sex trafficking ring), two strong and sexy main characters (Detective Armstrong Black and Detective Danielle Winstead), and the many important and well-written supporting characters, made for an incredible read and a fulfilling HEA romance ending. I can't wait for book two in the To Seduce and Serve series. Kudos to author Deborah Fletcher Mello!
Deborah Fletcher Mello does it again! I would give this book 10 stars if I could.
She introduce us to the Black family of Chicago. The Black family are law enforcement royalty sworn to protect and serve. Due to the Black parents love of Jazz, all their children are named after famous jazz musicians and singers. First up is Detective Armstrong Black. Detective Black along with a Detective on loan from Atlanta Georgia Danielle (Danni) Winstead . Danni is determined to take down criminals who targeted her sister , a ring trafficking young girls . Oh did I say that Danni is highly intelligent, badass, gorgeous, with a photographic memory? This book was an amazing read from start to finish and all is never quite what it seems.
I look forward to the next book in the series!!!

This book was a wonderful read. Mello excels in building a slow tension between the hero and the heroine. The sex-trafficking case they are working on together is well-researched and there are a number of details included here that make for a rich learning experience. Also, Mello writes food very well! Her descriptions will make a reader hungry. I loved reading about the family and I cannot wait until the next Black family book. Well done!
I was so into this story that I didn't want to put it down. It has all the elements I love in a book suspense, drama, family interludes and of course romance. Detective Armstrong Black was the epitome of a alpha male but he had discovered a weakness and her name was Danielle "Danni" Winstead. Two fellow detectives joined forces to take down a sex trafficking scheme but find they desire each other in the process of solving the crime they have been assigned. There's one big problem, they can't be connected in an intimate way as long as they're working together on a case but of course neither wants to end the assignment, but can't keep their hands or thoughts to themselves. Hence, they are Seduced By the Badge, in more than one way. Danni is knee-deep in the case because it's very personal for her while Armstrong is the big man in charge of the case so he wants to crack the case wide open and be done with it, because that's we he does and it's embedded in his blood line. I won't tell the story, you have to READ this book for yourself. If you allow the author to tell the story and not try to solve it while reading you will really enjoy this entertaining storyline. It's a dichotomy between a crime family and a family that fights crime. It's not what you think it is!!! Please read it and I promise you will love it. The romance interludes are very interesting. I had found myself cheering for Danni and Armstrong in so many ways like solving the case, holding strong to their core beliefs as officers of the law and as individuals, as well as staying safe and being smart when dealing with folks surrounding them.
